Struvite formation is a common condition, but easy to treat. Urinary Struvite is a complete dietetic feed, specially formulated to reduce urinary pH levels. In this way, existing struvite crystals are dissolved and the formation of new struvite crystals is prevented. In combination with the reduced mineral content (magnesium), recurrences are also reduced.

The low potassium level helps maintain a low urinary pH.
Magnesium is present at a low and safe level, ensuring that long-term preventive use does not pose a risk of hypomagnesaemia.
Limits the absorption of minerals that promote struvite formation.

What are struvite crystals and why are they dangerous?

Struvite crystals are mineral deposits that form in the urine when the pH is too alkaline. They can cause urinary infections, pain and in severe cases obstruction of the urinary tract.

How long should Urinary Struvite be given?

In the dissolution phase, 4 to 12 weeks under veterinary supervision is recommended. For long-term relapse prevention it can be continued; always consult your vet.
