Renal & Oxalate is a complete dietetic feed, specially adapted to the needs of cats with chronic renal insufficiency. It contains a reduced level of protein and less phosphorus to limit the burden on the kidneys. The proteins used are of high quality. In addition, Renal & Oxalate provides a high energy supply, so that even with a reduced appetite the cat needs to consume a smaller amount to meet its daily energy requirements.

Renal & Oxalate is also specially formulated to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate crystals. The use of potassium citrate has an alkalising effect on urinary pH, thereby reducing calcium excretion in the urine. Likewise, the excretion of citrate in the urine promotes calcium binding.
